David Kern joined Wealthquest in 2013 and earned his CFP® certification in2015. With a strong foundation in financial planning and a deep commitment to client relationships, David advises individuals and families across all stages of life, helping them navigate complex decisions and build lasting financial confidence. As David’s career at Wealthquest has progressed, he has stepped into various leadership roles and currently serves as the firm’s President.

David graduated Magna Cum Laude from Hillsdale College in 2008 with aBachelor of Arts in Economics. Prior to joining Wealthquest, he spent five years at Mars Hill Academy, a Classical and Christian school in Mason,Ohio, where he taught a variety of subjects and served as part of the school’s administration.

Outside of work, David is active in his church and serves alongside several non-profit organizations. He and his wife live in West Chester with their five children. He enjoys coaching his kid’s sports teams, seeking outdoor adventures with his family, and spending time with his lovely wife, Laura.
