In 1997, Steve graduated Magna Cum Laude from Wabash College with a double major in Economics and French. After working a year in Paris and several years in corporate finance, Steve began a career in financial planning in 2000. He earned the right to use the CFP® mark in 2004 and is a member of the Cincinnati Chapter of the Financial Planning Association.

Steve is married with three teenage children (two sons and a daughter). When not spending time with his family, Steve can be found tending to his fruit trees, serving on the Board Rotary Club of Cincinnati (Presdient 2022-23), or singing with his barbershop quartet.
